Remember GX: iu Mien
The Iu Mien (pronounced you-MIen) are a branch of the Yao, and constitute half of the Yao minority in Guangxi. They have a history of extended migration due to conflict, crossing mountains to find new homes, and therefore are called the Pan Yao or Mountain Crossing Yao. The Iu Mien people, also called Panhu Yao, believe they are descendants of their deity Panhu, who according to legend, is the Highest Deity’s valiant pet dog who married a princess.
Lord, revive local EV-ists to bring the good news to the Iu Mien.
Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the L is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”
